Blog Candy

Hi

We're okay bruises etc gone now. We've finally been given a price for our car and are waiting for them to send a cheque to our Finance Company to write the car off. At least then hopefully we can sort out more finance for another car. Thank goodness for internet shopping. Went out looking at cars today with my Father-in-Law. It was freezing. Mind you it was the first time I'd been out since the accident.

Having a change of colour and style on my blog, though I'd have a change.

Please link on the picture on the side bar to join in with the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog Candy. This is a newish blog what Joanna and her team have set up.

Hope your all okay.

Poor Car

This is a photo of our car after our accident. We've found out this week it's a right off poor old car. At least we are both okay that is the main thing. Paul had a sprained neck and I've got a few bruises on me where the seat belt was and on my left arm as that was my side the car rolled down the ditch on so I must have given it a good bang when we stopped.

Thank goodness we've got gap insurance out on it when we took the car on as we had a year left to pay on it. Hopefully it will all be okay so fingers crossed.

Everyone's been really kind and thoughtful at the moment, the internet is a god send for food shopping too.

So not loads of crafting done at the moment. It's taken us a week to sort a few things out and for us to stop feeling really still and not sleeping very well as each time we rolled over it hurt.

Will hopefully start crafting away again this next week as Paul's on nights in the Guard Room this next week for 7 night he started last night.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words.

Hugs

Car Accident

On Sunday night on the way home from one of Paul's Auntie's we had a car accident. The car skidded on the road and we ended up on our side in the ditch. I couldn't get out so Paul managed to get out and go to the house across the road and ask them to phone for an ambulance etc and ask for help. The Son came across and another car stopped and somehow I managed to stand up and the boys rocked the car and opened the back door and Paul moved one of the back seats and I somehow got out through the back door with help from Paul and these two boys (well young men). They helped me to the other side of the road. Legs very shaky and the family got a chair for me and a glass of water. I have to say I don't know what we'd have done without them and there are lovely nice helpful young people out there. I couldn't thank them enough. The ambulance guy's were amazing and they let me stay in the ambulance until Paul's Auntie arrived which the kind family let Paul use their phone to call her.

The car is a right off we think but we were luck to walk away and were told by a lot of people that we weren't the first people to have an accident there and they are sure we won't be the last. So now we wait for the Insurance Company's Assessor to look at it and get back to us. We're very sore and still still and a few bruises but very luck to be here. Someone was on our side that night.
